Wagner Mechanical respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a quote, submit a Facebook or Instagram enquiry, book an appointment or receive our services.
Wagner Mechanical is an HVAC business in Calgary, Alberta, operated by 2696333 Alberta Ltd. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Wagner Mechanical.
Information we collect
Depending on your request, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address or neighbourhood, appointment preferences, equipment details, communications with us, and relevant service and transaction records.
- Website forms. Our contact, quote and booking forms ask for your name and phone number or email address, the service you need, and any details you choose to add, such as your home type, square footage, number of furnaces or timing. We also record which form you used.
- Facebook and Instagram forms. Our Facebook and Instagram enquiry forms ask for your name, phone number and Calgary neighbourhood, and optionally your email address.
- Phone, text and email. When you call, text or email us, we receive your contact details and what you tell us.
- Service records. When we quote or complete work, we keep the service address, equipment details, the work performed, and invoice and payment records.
Facebook and Instagram forms may prefill information from your account. Please review it before submitting. Do not include payment-card numbers, government identification, medical information or other sensitive information in an enquiry form.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess service availability, prepare quotes, arrange and complete appointments, communicate about requested work, maintain business records and meet applicable legal requirements.
We record where each enquiry came from, such as our website or a Facebook or Instagram form, and whether it led to completed work. We use this to understand which advertising produces useful enquiries and completed jobs.
Submitting a service request allows us to contact you about that request. It does not confirm an appointment or enrol you in an unrelated promotional mailing list. We obtain any consent required for unrelated promotional messages.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information or lead information.
We share information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, operate supporting business systems, with your consent, or as permitted or required by law. We use the following service providers:

Enquiries from our website forms are stored in Canada. Some of the providers above store or process information in the United States or other countries. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. Meta also processes information submitted through Facebook and Instagram under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Website technology and cookies
Ordinary website operation
Like most websites, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that receives technical information with each page request, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Some pages also load typefaces and an animation library from Google Fonts and cdnjs, which receive your IP address when your browser requests those files. A weather panel on our homepage shows current Calgary conditions. It is fetched by our server and sends no information about you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our site. It records the pages you view, how you reached our site, your approximate location, and device and browser details. It also records actions such as starting or submitting a form and tapping a phone-number link. Google Analytics uses cookies for this.
Advertising measurement
Separately from ordinary website operation, we use advertising tools to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries:
- Google Ads. If you arrive from a Google ad, a cookie stores the ad-click identifier so Google can tell us when that visit leads to an enquiry. We do not send your name, phone number or email address to Google through our website.
- Meta Pixel. The Meta Pixel on our website tells Meta when a page is viewed, when a service page is visited, when a phone-number button is tapped and when an enquiry form is successfully submitted. Submissions include the type of service requested and, for our quote and booking forms, the quoted price. Meta uses cookies and may connect these events to your Facebook or Instagram account to measure and improve ad delivery. We do not add your name, phone number or email address to Pixel events.
We do not use call-tracking phone numbers, and calls to us are not recorded through our website. When you tap a phone number, the tools above record only that the tap happened, not the call itself.
Your choices
Our website does not currently offer its own cookie settings. You can manage cookies and ad measurement in these ways:

Retention and protection

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and limit access to people who need it for their work. Our website uses encrypted connections, and our customer records can only be viewed by signed-in staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask about our handling of your information, request access or corrections, or withdraw consent where applicable. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide a requested service. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.
